If that's true, then you need the commitment app. The commitment app was built to solve trust issues in business transactions. We all visit social media and therefore come in contact with so many merchants selling products, items and services. You have to really trust someone to pay upfront without getting the goods. If lucky, the fellow honours, if not, your funds is lost. With the commitment app, you create that business transaction on the app and then invite the second party. You make your commitment to the deal on the app while the 2nd party get's updated. If he goes along and fulfills his own obligation, he can return to the app and request payment. Payment is finally disbursed at the initiators final approval.

FAQ

What is the Commitment App?
Commitment App helps facilitate business deal payments. Lets see an Example: Femi sells shoes and is based in Kaduna. Emmanuel wants to buy some of the shoes and so he contacts Femi via Instagram. Femi says he cant send the shoes until Emma makes payment. Emma is scared and wants Femi to send down the shoes first before payment. Emma cancels out for fear and Femi looses a market. With the commitment App, Emma creates a business deal on the App and ties Femis account & mobile number plus business description to the deal been created. Emma pays the commitment amount required by Femi through the App. This money doesnt go to Femi directly, it sits on the App, but Femi gets notified that Emma has made payment commitment. Femi sends the shoes and and requests final disbursement from the App. Emma gets notified and authorizes. Money gets sent to Femi.

On final disbursement to receiving party.
Since this is deducted from the business deal value, the creator bears the cost.
No cost is deducted and your funds are automatically transferred back to you.
Your payment is available T+1 day(s). Thats basically 1 business day as our Payment Gateway provider releases the pool of funds in their custody. If your payment is approved on thursday, you'll get credited on Friday.
When a dispute is initiated by either the recipient or initiator, funds are frozen until mediation occurs and a level playing background is established amongst parties.
When both parties failed to come to a resolution to resolve their dispute, the funds will remain frozen on the commitment platform until a resolution is reached by both parties. Neither party gets the funds until they both agree and resolve their dispute.
When they finally come to a resolution, they should send a mail to [email protected], with a subject header titled 'Resolution of BID', quoting the business ID of the transaction. E.g let's say the BID of the transaction is 756478293, the subject header should read, 'Resolution of 756478293'. The mail should state clearly who the funds should be transfered to. The other party involved should be in the copy of the mail and must also reply to the mail in the affirmative, stating clearly that he/she is in the support of the resolution.
If you fund your transactions from your card directly, you would be charged 1.4% by our payments processor capped at ₦2,000 on every card funding - What this means for you is that if you fund your account via your card, you'll be charged 1.4% of the amount you fund with, but the fee will never exceed ₦2,000. So it's advisable to fund your wallet once and then allocate funds to your business transactions from your wallet. It's free.
